According to a new report, the ex-husband of Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak is a convicted child molestor who is serving time in prison.
The National Enquirer broke the shocking news in its latest issue stating Kim’s first husband Dan­iel Dominic Toce is behind bars in a Con­necticut state prison after pleading guilty to molesting a 15-year-old.
“Kim can’t believe the father of her girls is a child molester!” a source close to Kim revealed. “When she got the news, she was sick to her stomach. Kim can’t stop thinking about the shocking crime that Daniel committed on that inno­cent girl.”
Daniel, who remarried after his two-year union to Kim ended in 2003, is no stranger to crime. Before his 2010 arrest for sexual risk of injury to a minor, he had previous arrests and convictions ranging from breach of peace to felony robbery and larceny, dat­ing back to 2004.
And while some reports had mixed up Kim’s ex-husband Daniel with another Daniel Toce, who happens to be the son of a billionaire, it turns out Kim’s Daniel is far from being wealthy. In fact, this Daniel is reportedly broke and owes back child support for his kids from his first marriage. Kim has always maintained she doesn’t receive child support nor alimony from her ex.
Daniel, who pleaded guilty to a single count of felony sex abuse against a mi­nor, was sentenced to 10 years behind bars. He will however only have to serve 2 1/2 years as his remaining sentence will be suspended. Only 2.5 years for molesting a child? Disgusting.
While Daniel sits in prison, Kim, 33, is now trying to cut off all contact between him and her two daughters, Brielle, 14, and 10-year-old Ariana.
“Kim is consulting her legal team to see if she can permanently terminate Daniel’s parental rights or at least severely restrict them,” reveals a source. “She doesn’t want him anywhere near her two girls when he gets out of prison.” Though the Enquirer reports Daniel is the father of both of Kim’s daughters, it appears Daniel is only the father of Kim’s youngest daughter Ariana.

We all need a bit of ignorance in our lives. It’s not great to be involved in it, but it’s really wonderful to watch other people act a fool. What better to get a dose of ratchetness than reality television? Last week, we bid farewell to the chicks from Miami. VH1 knew we needed more, so they took things over to the left coast and gave us Basketball Wives L.A.

 - Shaunie 2.0: Gloria Govan, who we know from the OG BBall Wives, is the fiancée of Laker guard, Matt Barnes ; they have twin boys together.

 - West Coast Evelyn comes in the form of Imani Showalter, who was engaged for 9 years [:/] to major delinquent starting forward Stephen Jackson, currently of the Golden State Warriors. 

 - We have a few Tamis this season. First up is Kimsha Artest, the woman who at some point laid down with Ron Artest. We’re confused on the status. On the show they called her his partner, but Gloria called her a wife, and Ron says they were divorced two years ago. Hot mess.  Then there’s Laura Govan, sister to Gloria, and she is involved in a just all-around definition of hood situation with Gilbert Arenas of the Orlando Magic.They’re not together anymore, he left her with an empty house and four kids that he apparently doesn’t take care of. She sued him and he was served with the papers during half-time of a game, he called her fat on Twitter and then tried to shut down her ability to speak about him on the show a la Dwight Howard. 

- We also met, the OG wife, Jackie Christie. Her husband Doug Christie played for various NBA teams before retiring. Rumor is that she was CRAZY as all hell as a wife and she shows it by proudly saying that they get remarried every year, because “if you’re busy planning a wedding you’re too busy to plan a divorce” (WE CAN’T MAKE THIS SHIT UP).

- We also met Tanya Williams, the wife of convicted murderer and former Nets player, Jayson Williams. She’s apparently a motivational speaker who used every single moment of camera time to show off her skills.Wonder if she gives some speeches to the inmates at Rikers during conjugal visits. 

- Lakeisha Malaysia Pargo is the wife of Jannero Pargo of the Chicago Bulls (yeah, we don’t know either), she comes from Compton and has three children with her husband.She hangs out with chicks with tattoos on the middle of their chest and wears fur vests and heels to play pool. 

- Rounding out the line up is the oh so internet famous Draya Michelle. She’s known for her status as a former stripper and current booty model and for her flings with famous men, the last being Chris Brown. She’s currently linked to Javaris Crittendon, who is wanted for murder. If this is true, maybe Tanya, Kimsha, Gloria, Laura, and Imani can all refer her to some lawyers since they’ve all dealt with their husbands legal troubles – Gloria even dealing with her own arrest. It’s funny how they all feel like they’re in a place to judge her.

           The Basketball Wives plague is beginning to spread through the country, stopping in Los Angeles, CA first! With their season set to premiere on VH1 on August 29th, the cast of Basketball Wives Los Angeles is starting to make group appearances around the city of LA. This time around there are two actual wives on the main cast                                                                                                                                                                                      

Here is the breakdown: Kimsha Artest is the wife of Los Angeles Laker Ron Artest, Gloria Govan is the fiancee of Los Angeles Laker Matt Barnes, Laura Govan is the former fiancee of Gilbert Arenas and Gloria’s sister, Christie is the wife of former Los Angeles Clipper Doug Christie, Showalter is the ex-fiance of Charlotte Bobcat Stephan Jackson, and XXL model Draya Michelle who is a friend of Gloria Govan. And of course Shaunie O’neal, who claims to be embarrassed by the fights and fits on Basketball Wives Miami, has signed on to be an Executive producer for the Los Angeles season as well. Clearly she isn’t as “embarrassed” as we are, seeing that she is working on expanding the Basketball Wives brand.
